Feltételes mód angol – Zero, First, Second, Third conditional

Ebben az útmutatóban a feltételes mód angol témát vesszük át: a zero, first, second és third conditional szerkezeteket. Megnézzük a formákat, használatukat, példákat és a gyakori hibákat, majd egy interaktív feladatsorral gyakoroljuk be.

Áttekintés

Zero conditional: általános igazságok, szabályszerűségek – If you heat water, it boils.
First conditional: reális, jövőbeli következmény – If it rains, we will stay home.
Second conditional: elképzelt, kevéssé valós helyzet – If I had more time, I would travel.
Third conditional: múltbeli, már lezárt feltétel – If she had studied, she would have passed.

Zero conditional

Szerkezet: If + Present Simple, Present Simple.

If you mix blue and yellow, you get green.
When is cserélhető az if-fel általános igazságoknál.

First conditional

Szerkezet: If + Present Simple, will + V1.

If you study, you will pass.
A will a főmondatban áll, az if-tagmondatban nem használjuk.

Second conditional

Szerkezet: If + Past Simple, would + V1. (Formálisabb: If I were you...)

If I had a car, I would drive to work.
Hipotetikus, kevéssé valós helyzet a jelenben/jövőben.

Third conditional

Szerkezet: If + Past Perfect, would have + V3.

If we had left earlier, we wouldn't have missed the train.
Múltbeli, már meg nem változtatható helyzetekre utal.

Gyakori hibák

Will használata az if-tagmondatban: ✗ If it will rain → ✓ If it rains.
Were első személyben is: ✓ If I were you (formális/írott nyelvben).

If you heat water to 100°C, it boils.

Ha felmelegíted a vizet 100°C-ra, felforr.

If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.

Ha holnap esik, otthon maradunk.

If I had more time, I would learn Chinese.
